elleFITNESS is HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) – 30-minute sessions that use the whole body to burn up to 30% more calories than more conventional workouts.
The metabolism remains stimulated several hours after the session, thus continuing to burn calories without doing anything (5 minutes HIIT = 30 minutes jogging).

HIIT
HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) is a workout in which intensive exercise periods alternate with recovery time periods
There are several types of HIIT varying the duration of exercise periods, the number of repetitions and recovery time.
HIIT keeps the metabolism high for several hours after the session, it not only burns adipose tissue (subcutaneous fat), but also reduces visceral fat (pathogenic fat that surrounds internal organs). Five minutes of HIIT in the form of sprints increase the metabolism for 24 hours; it takes 30 minutes of moderate running to get the same result.
Lack of time is no longer a valid excuse for not training. Two or three time weekly of 30-minute HIIT sessions give better results in terms of cardiometabolic health, weight loss and tone than a conventional training of 5 sessions of 50 minutes.
It is advised to participate to a maximum of 4 HIIT classes per week to allow the body to recover.

Thanks to a significant increase in metabolism, HIIT generates a combustion of calories after exercise called EPOC (Excess Post exercise Oxygen Consumption) allowing to burn 6 to 15% of additional calories.

Part of the profits are donated to CIWY, a Bolivian NGO that offers wild animals rescued from illegal traffic a refuge in their natural environment.
Most of these animals can never be released, the staff and volunteers try to give them the most natural living conditions possible.
Nadi, founder of elleFITNESS, will be happy to tell you about the incredible adventures and experiences she lived in the jungle in the company of exceptional animals.
